Vikraman - Bharath together

Vikraman, the sob story specialist of 90�s had made some clean family entertainers that were super hits. But his �feel good� movies started bombing when they became predictable and stereotyped.

The trouble with Vikraman�s family formula films were that the audience taste changed and lady audience who formed the bulk of Vikraman�s viewers shifted their loyalties to the serials churned out on the small screen. And the youth audience found his films to be archaic and boring. His last release Priyamana Thozhi, inspite of having a big banner and star cast was a colossal flop.

Now Vikraman is back after a brief hiatus and is teaming up with Bharath the young hero with a good track record. The new film aptly titled Chennaik Kathal has Bharath and Genelia in the lead. And this time, Vikraman has dumped his favourite music director S.A.Rajkumar and gone for Joshua Sridhar.

According to Kalaipuli S.Thanu the producer: �It will be racy musical entertainer aimed at today�s youth�. All the best, Vikraman! Let us hope that he regains his old form.
