Vidya Balan's 'Kahaani' to be remade in Tamil?

There is talk in Kollywood that Vidya Balan's 'Kahaani' will be remade in Tamil and Telugu. Who will reprise the role of Vidya Balan? It is said two actresses _Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty _ are in the running. Anshka was the first to express her interest in doing the role. And, Nayanthara is the latest to join the race.

The production house which is to make the flick, is said to be considering three directors. One of them is 'Vettai' fame Lingusamy. The two others are 'Naan Avan Illai' director Selva and Billa 2 director Chakri Toleti.

The director of 'Kahaani', Sujoy Ghosh, may oversee the project and guide the remake director.

According to the grapevine, Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee, who played he role of the cop Satyak in the original, may be retained for the Tamil-Telugu remake.

The producers themselves have not yet come out with any announcement in this regard. It is expected that they will make a formal announcement after things fall in place.
