Vikram- In no hurry?

It is nearly hundred days since Vikram�s Vikram's Maja released but the actor is yet to start work on his next film.

Vikram and director Lingusamy has been trying to work out a script sitting at the Sterling resort in Kumbakonam. But so far nothing concrete has shaped out.

They want to come out with an action film with a larger-than-life hero character but the proper story line is not emerging. Vikram knows that the audiences want him to play somebody bigger than Anniyan or a Remo, while Lingu feels some family bonding is also required. So far they worked on two scripts, both were abandoned as it was found to be similar to a recent film.

Let us hope Vikram and Lingu will be able to get rid of their "writers block" and come out with a racy , action movie which producer A. M. Ratnam can release for August 15.

When contacted Vikram said: "Let's be honest. Script is the soul of a film, and without a good script a film cannot be successful. I am in no hurry to start a film, let it take its own time".

Vikram is one actor who understands the importance of a good and viable script. Today's audience are looking for something different. The long and short of it is that the film will start rolling only when Vikram and Lingu are happy with the characterisation of Bheema!
