Vikram � brand ambassador for Coke

Vikram is all set to become the new brand ambassador for Coke in Tamil commercials. Vikram has been signed by Coco-Cola India to be the brand ambassador of Coke in South for two years. The new ads are to be made by ad and film director Rajiv Menon.

For years it was Vijay who was playing the role, prancing around and making a fine impress with his dancing prowess as youth icon along with top model Katrina Kaif, which used to air frequently in all channels. Since the commercial is made for south consumers, Vikram who has a presence in Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Kerala has been chosen. Recently all his dubbed films in Telugu including Siva Puthrudu (dubbed version of Pithamagan) have been chartbusters. Currently Vikram is working in Shankar�s Anniyan, a big budget extravaganza which is simultaneously dubbed and released as Aparichithudu in Telugu. Though official spokesperson for coke has not confirmed the news, buzz insists that Vikram has already been briefed about the new campaign and will start shooting soon.
