The actor recently went to our CM Karunanidhi�s home with his father, S. A. Chandrasekar a popular director to thank him for awarding the special best actor award of the year 2005 for the film �Thirupachi�.
Vijay performs predominantly in leading roles in medium-budget films, ranging from romantic comedies and drama to actions. His most popular films include Poove Unakkaga, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Kushi, Gilli and Pokkiri.
