Veppam postponed to July 10?

Nani-Nithya Menen's bilingual, being made in Telugu as Sega and in Tamil as Veppam, by debut director Anjana Ali Khan (ace Gautham Menon's assistant), has been reportedly re-scheduled to hit screens on July 10.

It is heard that the producer postponed the film due to the unavailability of theatres in Tamil Nadu because of too many releases during this season, including Avan Ivan (Vaadu Veedu in Telugu), Dhanush's Vengai and Deiva Thirumagal. The producer wants the bilingual to be released simultaneously in AP and Tamil Nadu. It was earlier scheduled to hit screens on June 24.

The Telugu version is produced by Ashok Vallabhaneni and the Tamil version by the popular director Gautham Menon. The film stars Evam Karthik Kumar and Bindu Madhavi in important roles. Cinematography is by Om Prakash, music by Joshua Sridhar, and Vijay Anthony is the editor. Aditya Music is the music distributor.
