T.V Chandran angry at IFFI

IFFI just hasn't realized that people from South Indian film industry deserve respect too. A few days ago, the organizers had angered representatives of the Telugu cinema. Now, it is the turn of Malayalam filmmakers to be on the receiving end of bad and shabby treatment.

Couple of days ago, IFFI circulated brochures about a retrospective section of legendary Kannada superstar Dr Rajkumar. The photographs in the brochure were of director Girish Kasaravalli! In spite of the big blunder, the organizers didn't withdraw the brochure. So, Girish Kasaravalli still is 'Dr Rajkumar'.

Then, some of the much respected directors and producers were not allowed to enter the halls screening Telugu films. The halls were so tiny that they wouldn't have even found a place even if they had managed to get inside. Angered, the delegates protested at the venue.

And yesterday, it was the turn of internationally acclaimed director TV Chandran to receive "special hospitality" at the venue. He was denied entry at the venue and had to get into an argument with the organizers. But the same organizers didn't fail to give superstar treatment to Juhi Chawla!
