Stars boycott Thilakan's daughter's wedding
The ongoing feud between Thilakan, the character actor and AMMA the artistes� body resulted in his daughter's wedding having no actors or directors attending it. Thilakan's daughter Sonia and Sivaprasad got married at simple ceremony in Trivandrum. The wedding had only the presence of director Lohitadas. Lohitadas was introduced to films by Thilakan. Lohitadas flew down from Chennai to attend the wedding. Small screen actors were present. When asked about Superstars not coming an angry Thilakan retorted" Not only Stars but even their satellites and comets did not come. They saw to it that for five years I was not given any work in films. My daughter's wedding took place in a nice way without them."
