Thankar- Great hope!

Will Thankar Bachchan be accepted as a hero with Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy? The ace cameraman turned director and now the hero of his new film, is pinning a lot of hope on this remake from Malayalam Sreenivasan classic Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala.

Thankar has the wrath of film personalities, trade and media after his verbal attack on them in public. But he hopes to hit back at his detractors and legion of critics who feel that he is crude and is no hero material.

Thankar is now keeping a low profile and is avoiding the media but sources close to him say that Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy will speak for itself, and he is distributing the film as nobody was willing to buy the film.

Meanwhile Navya Nair the heroine of the film is also keeping her fingers crossed as the film is likely to get her critical acclaim and maybe an award!
