Suresh Gopi in 'Time'

Shaji Kailas, who has given many super hit films on cop stories, is on to his next film named Time. The central character is played by Suresh Gopi, the same person who had shone as an IPS officer in Shaji's films.

Suresh Gopi enacts Appan Menon, an IPS officer in the film. Appan's father, a former police official in the Tamil Nadu cadre wanted his son to be in the same profession.

Appan marries his childhood friend Janaki.

IPS officers are usually degraded by posting them in public sector institutions etc. Appan too has the same fate. Appan has been appointed to investigate a case related to former minister Krishnan Nair. Many truths reveal after the investigation.

Vimala Raman, heroine of K Balachander's new film plays Janaki in the film.

Susan Thomas (Padmapriya) plays a social activist in the film. The film also has Manoj K Jayan, Siddique, Lal, Vijaya Kumar, Keerikkadan Jose, T P Madhavan and many others. The film has script by Rajesh Jayaraman. Lyrics penned by Vayalar Saratchandra Varma have music by Alex Paul.

Raja Retnam wields camera for the film. The film is produced by Gopan under the banner of Bhagyachitra Films Pvt Limited. Bhagyachitra Release will bring the film to the theatres.
