Suresh Gopi becomes 'Badaa Dost'

Suresh Gopi's impressive lineup of films continues. His new film is going to be with director Viji Thambi. 'Badaa Dost' is the name of the film.

New and upcoming young hero Manikuttan is playing the second lead in the film. His recent film 'Kalabham' looks promising. Siddique is producing the film. Shooting has commenced at Kochi. The rest of the crew had reached the location but they now await Suresh Gopi's arrival on the sets.

Meanwhile, Shaji Kailas is getting ready to start his big film with Mohanlal. 'Alibhai' is the name of the film and shooting is likely to begin in September. The director hasn't announced the heroine yet. Mohanlal continues his very impressive success streak this year with yet another hit, 'Kirtichakra'.

Suresh Gopi's Vishu release, 'Chinthamani Kola Case' with Shaji Kailas, was a big hit but he followed it up with a dud like 'Ashwaroodan'. His Onam release this year is 'Pathaaka'.
