Sreenivasan, Lal Jose together

Years back in 1997, ace script writer and actor Sreenivasan worked out a potential script for a young debutant director. The film with Mammootty in the lead, not only became a mega hit but also announced the landing of a mainstream director of such calibre and introduced beautiful Tamil locations to Malayalam audience. The director also won applause for presenting Mammooty in lighter comic filled role successfully for the first time. The film was 'Oru Maravthoor Kanavu' and the director was Lal Jose. The rest of the history is looked back on the director as someone who delivered some of the greatest hits of all times in Malluwood.

Now after a decade, the old team is going to work in union again. But this time the old scriptwriter is taking the role of the hero in the film. He will be acting out the lines of a script by Dr. Iqbaal Kuttipuram. This untitled film with Sreenivasan in the lead will be shot entirely in Gulf. The film which is in the final stages of its scripting will roll by September, as Laaljose is presently busy engaged in the completion of his Onam film 'Classmates'.
