Satyan film starts rolling!

Mohanlal has started work on his new untitled film for director Satyan Anthikkad at the beautiful locations of Moolamattum in Idukki district. Sathyan and Mohanlal who have done nearly 20 films together have last worked on Pingami about 12 years back.

Mohanlal plays Premachandran Asari a carpenter in the film with Bharath Gopi playing his dad. Premachandran is a leading carpenter and is very good at his job. His associates are Innocent and Mamookoya. One day after finishing the wood work of a house, Premachandran meets Kanmani (Meera Jasmine) a servant of that house and they fall in love.

Says Sathyan Anthikkad: �It is a serious family drama with an undercurrent of comedy and fun.Premachandran Asari played by Mohanlal is a guy with a terrific sense of humour�. The cast also has Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Jagathy, KPAC Lalitha and Bindu Panikkar. The lyrics of Girish Puthencherry are tuned by Ilayaraja. Azhagappan is the cameraman.

The film produced by Mohanlal�s personal secretary Antony Perumbavoor is distributed by Central pictures and is scheduled for release on April 7.
