Romantic pair of 2005 splits

The most romantic on-screen pair of 2005, Suriya and Asin had created magic with Ghajini, which turned out to be one of the years biggest blockbusters.

The song, Suttrum Vizhi Sudale... picturised on them turned out to be the song of the year and the largest selling ringtone. The songs tuned by Harris Jayaraj were superbly picturised by director Murugadas who made the audience fall in love with the lead pair.

The tender romance and the chemistry between Sanjay Ramasamy and Kalpana ignited the screen, thanks to Suriya and Asin's charming and life like performance which made the film work at the box-office.

Recently in an opinion poll conducted by a college magazine, 85 percent of the youth felt that Suriya and Asin are the most romantic pair of the year. The Ghajini pair just scorched the screens and was able to create an impact.

But the sad and shocking news is that in real life, both have fallen out over Jillendru Oru Kathal fiasco and is said to be not on talking terms! Suriya supporters blame Asin and say that after taking an advance for the film, she walked out at the last minute saying �Jo has the better role�.

The film was delayed by over a month and producer Gjanavel( Suriya's cousin) had to run around looking for an alternative and finally, he had to settle for Bhoomika Chawla. Suriya the perfect gentleman that he is, just kept his cool and never uttered a word.

Now the latest we hear is that the professional relationship between Tamil cinema's "most romantic pair" has gone sour and they are not on talking terms!

And news just coming in is that Gautam Menon who is reviving his Chennayil Oru Mazhai Kalam has decided to drop Asin and re-shoot the film with Suriya and Trisha.
