Roma as Mammoottys heroine
Roma, who had started her acting career in Malayalam with Notebook two years ago. But she has been bestowed with an opportunity that other actresses acheived after striving for years. She is starring as superstar Mammootys heroine in Parunthu, which started filming recently.
Since she is quite young, she has been working exclusively with young heroes until recently. But this time, she has managed to the impossible. Earlier, she had been offered a dream role opposite Mohanlal in Flash, but it went to Parvathy, her co-star in Notebook. The film was a flop at the box office.
She acquired this opportunity of a lifetime in a short period for which experienced actresses like Meera Jasmine and Kavya Madhavan had to wait for a long time. Now, Roma who got the Best Newcomer award for Notebook in 2006, is happily flying high up on the wings of Parunthu.
