Rendu is now Irandu

Sundar C is still basking in the success of his film. 'Rendu' is the second film produced by Khushboo and directed by her husband Sundar C.

A mix of suspense, comedy and romance, the crowds have been flocking to theatres. But Sundar C says no more directing for the next five months. That's because he's the hero of a film!

'Thalainagaram' in which he acted as hero did better than expected. �The people have accepted me a hero. Some directors have also narrated some good stories to me. I have chosen 3 of them and plan to act in those films. That's why I will be taking a break from directing for the next 5 months.�

'Rendu' is colloquial Tamil. Only a pure Tamil title will make a film eligible for tax concessions, so 3 days after the release of the film, it has been re-titled as 'Irandu' in pure Tamil.

Maybe the producers should start a committee that will decide if the titles are pure Tamil or not. This will save everyone around, as lot of confusion!
