Rajini to inaugurate Billa 2007

Billa is a superhit film of the 80s with Rajinikanth and Sripriya in the lead. This film is now remade as Billa 2007 with Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead.

Vishnuvardhan will direct this film and Anandha pictures will produce it. The inauguration ceremony for this film will be held on April 13.

Billa 2007 team had invited Rajinikanth and Sripriya for the inaugural function. Ajith himself had spoken to Rajini over phone and had invited him for the function.

Rajini had immediately given his assent and will be the chief guest at the function. Namitha is also there in the film. She is doing the role done by Praveena.

Rajini always has a liking for Ajith. Even recently he had called up Ajith when he met with an accident during the shooting of Kireedom and had enquired about his health.

Rajini had invited Ajith and Shalini for dinner at his home for the success of his film. Varalaru.
