Prajapathi bombs at Box Office
Prajapathi, Ranjith�s modern day Mahabharatham has bombed miserably at the Kerala box-office. It is Mammootty�s biggest flop compared to his other films that did well this year.
The trouble with the film is that it failed to even get a decent opening and added to that the FIFA World Cup clashed with the release and people preferred to watch the interesting football match on their television.
In Thiruvananthapuram, considered as a citadel of Mammootty, here are the collection figures of two other Mammootty films in comparison to Prajapathi-
Prajapathi- 9 days, Rs 8,00210 at New theatre with seating capacity 1320.
Turuppu Gulan- 8 days, Rs 8,60, 571 at Ajantha, seating 878
Balram Vs Taradas- 7 days- Rs 14,36 134, Parthas(909), Kairali (920) Combined seating-1829.
