Parvathi Melton with Sreekanth

Tamil Selvan�s short story Veyiloodu Poi is being made into a film now. Sasi is writing the script and directing the film which has been titled Poo.

Srikanth is the hero of this film. Many leading heroines were approached to act with Srikanth in this film but they refused citing call sheet problems. The director also tried many new faces but was not satisfied after taking make up tests on them.

After all these efforts Malayalam actress Parvathi has been selected for the role. Parvathi Melton was already booked for the film Naan Kadavul directed by Bala but she was dropped for reasons known only to Bala.

The shooting for Poo will begin during month end. S S Kumaran will score music for this film. Sakthi Saravanan is the cinematographer. Srikanth is expecting a lot out of this film.
