Nayantara opposite Vishal

It was earlier announced that Trisha and Vishal will act in the lead in the film Sathyam to be directed by Vishnuvardhan.

But the shooting for the film got delayed for some reasons. In the meantime Trisha had become very busy with her other films.

Meanwhile director Vishnuvardhan also became busy and he is now directing Billa 2007 with Ajith in the lead.

Vishal too was booked for the film Mallaikottai which will be directed by Bhoopathi Pandian. Now the shooting for Sathyam will resume shortly but this time with a different team except the hero.

Nayanthara will replace Trisha. Nayan who is now busy shooting for Yaaradi Nee Mohini with Dhanush and Billa with Ajith will start Mallaikottai after the completion of her other two films.

Kannada actor Upendra will be the villain. Rajasekar is the director. Cinematography is by R D Rajasekar. Harris Jayaraj will score music. The film is produced in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.
