Nayantara the Malayalee actress has made a sensational debut with Ayyaa in Tamil. She has caught the attention of the viewers with her immense screen presence and beautiful smile. Nayantara made a confident first impression as Selvi, the 17-year-old school girl who falls in love with a much older character of Sarath Kumar in Ayyaa. For an actress who confessed that she has not learned any acting nor dancing prior to her debut in films she has done a neat job.

During Pongal she was there on all channels giving interviews and coming across as a confident and determined girl to make it big in Kollywood. In fact her next release will be opposite superstar Rajnikanth in Chandramukhi (see pic) releasing on April 14 (Tamil New Year).

Meanwhile Nayatara has been flooded with offers and even young heroes are willing to work with her. According to the latest buzz, she will be doing the next film opposite Vikram to be produced by Kalaipuli S.Thanu and director Hari is repeating her in his new film with Surya.
