Navya Nair in double role
Jayaraj is now making serious attempts to star directing his first film in Tamil. Though ther est of the cast remains a big mystery, he seems to have finalized the heroine- Navya.
This time around, Jayaraj has chosen the controversial and interesting topic of rebirths. 'Kangal Marappathillai' (eyes don't forget) is the name of the film and it is about a girl who remembers her past birth. Navya plays the dual roles of the central character- Anjali and Thaamarai. Though it hasn't been officially confirmed yet, it looks as if the story is about revenge spanning two births.
Vincent Ashok, who was last seen as a villain in 'Pokkiri' is switching to playing male lead with this film.
Moonar, Kaaraikudi and Chennai are the main locations.
Navya is also the heroine of Shankar's latest production. Meanwhile, she also has an offer or two from Kannada.
