Navya dubs herself in �Amrutham�

Though nobody knows when the film is going to be released, Navya Nair sure is very excited about her new film in Tamil, �Amrutham�.

For the first time, she is dubbing herself in Tamil. "I was very much attracted to �Amrutham� because it was a heroine-oriented film and I was getting the offer to play the title role. Money was not the only reason why I worked in the film. The story was so powerful that I felt that I must do the dubbing myself too," she said.

"Everybody in the unit wondered if I, a Malayali, could speak good Tamil without any accent. I first understood the nuances of the language and only then did I try speaking in Tamil. I guess it had come well because the whole unit clapped and appreciated my work when I completed my dubbing," she ended.

Navya claims that the unit was so impressed by her work that they now call her �Chinna Savithri� after the actress of yesteryears, who was known for her emoting capabilities.
