She will be acting with Vijay in Azhagiya Tamil Magan and with Ajith in Billa. She has also got a chance to act in the film Malligai Malarae. This film is a heroine based subject and has a lot of scope for her to act.
Namitha has 5 different roles in this film. One of the character shows her as a 17 year old +2 student. Starting from the 17 year old character she has 5 different characters and she also acts as a 40 year old woman.
Namitha had reduced her weight by 7 kilos after strenuous exercise and dieting. The film might also be sent to international film festivals as it has a very strong theme.
For this reason Namitha will be dubbing her own voice for the film.
