Nagesh Honoured

Veteran stars of Tamil film industry gathered to heap praises on legendary actor Nagesh at the launch of a book tilted Sirithu Vaazha Vendum which speaks about the memory lane of the veteran actor, who outshined in playing comedy roles in several hundred movies and the book has been written by Chandramouli. Veteran artistes Cho. Ramasamy, Siva Kumar, Saroja Devi and Manorama shared their happy moments working with Nagesh.

Releasing the book, Cho said, 'I had the good chance of working in several films with him. He is a talented artiste who rose to become a popular star only due to hard work. Lyricist Vaali, crediting all his achievements to Nagesh, said, 'but for him, I would have not been anywhere. He encouraged me and got me opportunities to work in films, which I should remember with gratitude'.Siva Kumar, Manorama, Saroja Devi and many others spoke on the occasion.
