Mohanlal�s Ramzan release

Screenplay writer Ranjan Pramod makes his debut as a director with �Photographer�. Mohanlal plays the role of Dijo John, a professional photographer. Howly Pottur is producing the film on Dream Team banner. For the first time, Dream Team is making its entry into film distribution.

The entire story unfolds with the Muthanga tragedy in the backdrop. The film deals Dijo�s family and the bonds they share with each other. �This film is unlike anything that I had worked on before. I�m trying to come up with a unique treatment for the film. If the audience accepts it, the film will become a trendsetter,� Ranjan Pramod said.

Search is still on for a heroine. The director revealed that he had approached Simran, Sneha and even Jyothika to play the lead role but they had all refused because they didn�t have callsheets.

The screenplay writer-turned director said that he�ll announce the rest of the cast on the First of July.
