Mohanlal�s new look

Mohanlal has a "new look� in writer-director Renjit�s new film titled Chandrolsavam that is being shot at Varikkaseri Mana near Shornnur. Mohanlal has gone for an army crew cut and wears grey baggy cargo pants for the first time. He plays Sri Hari, a man who has a battalion of friends played by Jagadish, Cochin Haneefa, Augustine, Sriraman, Santhosh and others.

Sri Hari was in Paris for 15 years and now he is back in Chirakkal tharavad, his family home among his old friends. He loves to freak out with them by going to the local temple and church festivals and boozing during nights.

Chandrolsavam looks like a typical mass masala movie with punch line dialogues and a larger-than-life character written by Renjit. Meena is once again paired opposite Mohanlal and Samvrutha (�Rasikan� fame) is also in the cast. The veteran music director Dakshinamoorthy makes an appearance in the film which has music by Vidyasagar.
