Mohanlal�s make-over

Earlier a star�s look was his legacy. But now actors like Mamootty and Mohanlal prefer to experiment with a different look in every film. After being a 73-year-old man in Udayon, Mohanlal is going for an image make over in his next film for director Joshi. Writer Ranjan Pramod, Joshi along with �Gayathri� Asokan, the famous ad graphics maker in Kerala sat together and sketched a �new look� for Mohanlal.

In the film titled Naran, Mohanlal plays Mullankolli Velayudhan, a villager with curly hair, light eyes, twirled moustache, a stubble, bullet pendant around his neck, sleeveless vest and a crumbled dhoti. The guy has to look menacing as the character has shades of grey.

A look at Asokan�s sketch and Mohanlal was all excited about the character and now the actor�s personal costumer Murali and makeup man Salim will give the finishing touches. Mohanlal will start work on Naran from June 8 in Pollachi and it will be his Onam release.
