Meera Jasmine plays a boy!

Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine are coming together for the first time in Rasathantram for director Sathyan Anthikkad. And the highlight is that Meera plays a servant boy in disguise in the first half!.

Meera plays Kanmani a servant girl but due to circumstances she disguises herself as Velayudhan Kutty. Mohanlal plays a carpenter Premachandran Asari with a terrific sense of humour.

The film is almost complete in the beautiful locales of Moolamattum in Idukki district of Kerala. Sathyan and Mohanlal who have done nearly 20 films together are back after 12 years. Said Meera: �I enjoyed doing the role of Velayudhan Kutty and during the shoot, I really felt that I was a boy. Hence it was not difficult for me to get the body language and mannerisms of a boy correctly�.
