Meera is Mohanlal�s heroine!

Meera Jasmine, the National award winning actress who has been avoiding films with the two �M�s of Malayalam cinema has now finally agreed to do a film opposite Mohanlal.

Meera said that �I would love to do a film with Mammootty and Mohanlal, whom I respect and admire. I sincerely hope that someone gives me a script where my role with them will be justified and there is enough scope for me to perform�.

Now Meera seems to have found �the right script� as she has signed a film to be directed by Sathyan Anthikkad produced by Antony Perumbavoor under �Ashirwad banner�. It is a casting coup of sorts for Sathyan who is also directing Mohanlal after 10 years!

Remember that Sathyan-Mohanlal team has given some classic comedies like Nadodikattu, Gandhi Nagar 2nd Street, T.P.Balagopalan MA among others. Meera has agreed to do this film due to her immense trust in Sathyan who had given her a hit early this year with Achuvinte Amma.

This untitled film will have music by Ilayaraja and will be a light hearted comedy with a strong message for which shooting will start by January 1, 2006 and will release on March 27, 2006.
