Meera Jasmine again with Sathyan Anthikkadu

Noted director Sathyan Anthikad, has started his new untitled film with Dileep in the lead. The heroine in the film was a new girl Kavitha from Chennai but after a couple of days of shoot, she was dropped. And now Sathyan has gone back to his favourite heroine Meera Jasmine to be the leading lady. Sathyan's last two films- Achuvinte Amma and Rasathantram were super hits which had Meera as the heroine.

He is one director who is able to extract quality performances from Meera, who has always had meaty characters in his films. So when Sathyan called her, the actress was more than willing to give him dates. She had just cancelled Lohithadas Chempattu which is now scrapped.

The untitled film has become even more hot, as it has an array of good performers like Dileep, Mukesh, Seeta and Parvati(Notebook fame). It has music by the maestro Ilayaraja.

The Sathyan film has his own stamp about it, and is sure to strike a chord with the family audience. The film is Dileep's comeback vehicle this Vishu as it is slated for release on April 14.
