Mammootty in Fazil film

In fact the Mammootty starrer is poised to be the biggest ever hit in the history of Malayalam cinema, and is expected to run for 200 days and likely to get a share of Rs 50 Lakhs from Kavitha in Ernakulam, Mammootty' s lucky theatre.

Mammootty is a man who never forgets old friend's who stood with him in difficult days. When he came to know that Fazil is going through a bad patch with successive failures in Malayalam and Tamil, he decided to give him priority dates.

Fazil is celebrating his 25th year in the industry, after his successful debut with Manjil Virinja Pookal, which was the launch pad of Mohanlal. One of Mamootty's big hits Pappayude Swantham Apoos which made him popular with family audience was also directed by Fazil.

The new untitled film is likely to be Mammootty's 2006 Onam release which will be produced, written and directed by Fazil. Three cheers to Mammootty!.
