Lion goes to Telugu
Dr.Rajashekar is a Telugu producer/director/actor who specializes in buying the remake rights of almost all the films that Dileep had ever starred in.
Another filmmaker in Telugu had bought the remake rights of one of Dileep�s previous films, �Runway�, even before its release only to find out that the film is a mix of lot of Bollywood hits. The film�s Telugu remake flopped anyway.
Dileep�s first release of the year, �Lion� has turned out to be a hit in Malayalam.
Now, Rajashekar has bought the remake rights of �Lion�. In all probabilities, his wife, former actress Jeevitha, is going to direct the film.
