John Abraham returns to comedy

Isn�t it strange that John Abraham hasn�t done much comedy in his acting career?

It was years ago when John showed his comic flair in Priyadarshan�s laugh-riot Garam Masala . Though the actor was overshadowed by the more competent Akshay Kumar in the film, he still managed to tickle the funny bone in a few scenes.

Now, John is set to return to comedy in the UTV film Hook Ya Crook to be directed by David Dhawan .

The movie, it is learnt, tells the story of a crook behind bars in a maximum security prison. John will reportedly play the part. The story is written by Rensil D�Silva.

This would be the first time when John would be directed by David Dhawan.

John is presently shooting for Karan Johar�s production Dostana . He will shoot for Dhawan�s film after completing Johar�s movie.

�Hook Ya Crook� will be shot in Mumbai and Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad.
