Jab We Met in Tamil
Jab We Met, the romantic Bollywood movie of 2007, is to be remade in all southern languages. Moser Baer which recently released CDs and DVDs of the original, has bagged the remake rights and is to produce the movie in all the four southern languages.
The original, directed by Imtiaz Ali, with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor as the romantic leads, was a major hit last year.
According to sources, the company plans to initially produce the film in Tamil and Telugu. The Malayalam and Kannada versions will be made later.
Moser Baer is yet to finalize the cast and crew for both Tamil and Telugu versions. However, it is being said that the films will have big names as its leads with a leading director at the helm.
