Happy birthday Nayantara

Ladies and gentlemen, the most beautiful actress in South India at present, Nayantara, celebrates her birthday on the 18th of November.

She was born Diana Mariam Kuriyan. Her native was Thiruvalla. She had eyes that sparkled even as a child. She is now Nayantara, the actress who makes close to Rs 1 Crore per film!

It was with Jayaram's 'Manasinakkare' that she made her debut in films. Her subsequent films, including 'Vismayathumbathu' with Mohanlal gave her the kind of stardom that cinema is known for. Since then, she has evolved a lot as an actress, especially when it comes to the way she handles the media.

Those were the times when she went about making controversial statements, the most famous one being-"I don't want to get married at all". Her second trouble with the media started when the latter went overboard with her romance with co-star Simbu. The fact that she wasn't that familiar with the language helped the media to some extent.

Her birthday gift to her fans would be her new film 'Billa' with Ajith, in which she plays a very action-oriented heroine. One of the biggest draws of the film is the scene in which she appears in a bikini!
