Director's salary in crores
The fact that south Indian actors receive the highest salary is undeniable. Now directors are trying to beat the actors and prove their rates can also be astronomical. They demand fees in crores if two films of theirs become successful and an offer comes up for the third film. Some of them who are both actors and directors demand a crore for the collective job. Shankar, Vikraman, Tharani, Selvaraghavan, Bala, Cheran, Perarasu, Lingusamy, S.J. Suryah are some among this hit list of directors.
