Dilip Kumar to be arrested
A non-bailable warrant has been issued against senior actor Dilip Kumar in a case of cheque bouncing in 1998.
G.K. Exim India, registered in Kolkata with Dilip Kumar as chairman, issued cheques for Rs. 10 million to Hyderabad-based Deccan Cements towards repayment of an inter-corporate deposit in 1998. Apart from Dilip Kumar, warrants have been issued against two other directors of the firm - Gopala Krishna Rathi and Anuj Rathi.
The senior actor and others failed to appear before the court on a number of occasions in the past. Hence the magistrate has issued the non-bailable warrant. Hyderabad police have sought help from Mumbai police on this matter.
