Dasavathaaram for Pongal
Mangada Ravi Verma worked as Choreographer in Malayalam films of Adoor Gopalakrishnan. Kerala government�s J.C Daniel achiever award was given to 81 year old Ravi Verma appreciating his contribution to the film industry.
Kerala�s Education and Cultural Minister M.A Baby and Kamal Hassan in person visited Ravi Verma who is residing at Kodambakkam in Chennai and handed over the award to him.
Speaking later, Kamal Hassan said he was a great fan of Mangada Ravi Verma. Kamal said he considered it a honour to hand over the award to Verma.
Speaking about his film Dasavathaaram, Kamal said last leg of work is going on and the film would definitely be released during Pongal.
