Classmates goes to Telugu
Lal Jose's Onam winner 'Classmates' is all set to be remadein Telugu.
The film's steady-paced narration, screenplay and its twists and turns have so impressed the audience here that an intense competition soon began to buy its remake rights.
Shravanthi Ravikishore now owns the remake rights in Telugu.
If there is one difference between Tamil and Telugu film industry (other than their language, of course), it is the fact that when Telugu filmmakers buy the remake rights of a Malayalam film, they almost always make it. You can never say this with assurance when it comes to Tamil.
'Rajamanikyam', 'Chanthupottu' and 'Udayanaanu Thaaram' are just some of the films that still await getting remade in Tamil.
