Blessy finally reacts to National Awards disaster
Everybody thought that 'Kaazcha' would get Blessy atleast the award for best director.
But the film returned empty-handed. The director is finally making his reaction public. "I was not born to pass judgment about the National award choices. I'm the director who directed the film that lost in the competition. With such an identity, how am I supposed to criticize the judges?
"70's and 80's were the time when Malayalam cinema was at the peak of experimentation. The industry was full of talented geniuses. It was the best time to make wonderful films. Times have changed now. These days, preference is for romantic and larger-than-life stories. I wanted to do something different. That was why 'Kaazcha' happened. I'm not going to stop making films just because I didn't win an award. I'm right here, working in new films," he said.
