Bhargava Charitham bombs!

Mammootty�s Onam release Bhargava Charitham Moonam Khandam has bombed miserably at the Kerala box-office.

Word-of-mouth reviews of the movie were so bad that by evening show of the opening day, the film started sliding!

It is turning out to be Mammootty�s biggest flop in recent times. On day two�when Kamal Hassan�s Vetayadu Vilayadu released to full houses at Kavitha theatre in Ernakulam � Bhargava Charitham collections dropped drastically.

And by Sunday, after Mohanlal�s Mahasamudram released, Bhargava Charitham collapsed.

�Current Bhargavan' has short-circuited Mammootty�s impressive track record at the Kerala box-office. The film is turning out to be a bigger flop than his earlier Prajapathy. Even die-hard Mammootty fans are finding the film hard to digest.

Director Sreenivasan will have to do a rethink. Scripts like Bhargava Charitham, which is based on a Hollywood flick Analyse This, is very difficult to sell to a Malayalee audience.
