Battle at the Box Office

Two good friends have been unwittingly drawn into a confrontation this week. We are taking about Silambarasan's Tottijjaya and S.J. Suryah�s Aa.. Aah battle at the box-office.

Both are good friends and fans of each other and was even supposed to do a film together (AC) which fizzled out. Now this week they are in a no-holed barred battle to get an opening! Both claim that all shows for opening weekend has been sold out!

And to make it even more bitter, they are after the same audience- the youth, who will determine the winner. Totti Jaya is an out and out action movie, which is likely to take a good opening and its music by Harris Jayaraj is popular.

At the other end, S.J. Suryah, with his recent brushes with the censors claims his film Aa..Aah is a romantic comedy with peppy numbers by A.R. Rahman. Suryah also believes that he has a better track record among the audience as all his three films were hits!

To make it even more interesting, both the films were butchered by the censors. Tottijaya< for excessive violence and Aa..Aah for smutty dialogues and steamy scenes! However the winner will be declared by the young filmgoers of Tamilnadu this weekend! Watch this space for more
