Asin with Kamal Hassan

In a major casting coup, Kamal Hassan has been able to rope in Asin, the young, hot and happening girl of Kollywood as his heroine in K.S.Ravikumar directed Dasavatharam.

Asin who was avoiding films with senior actors has signed on the dotted line for �Oscar Films� to do Dasavatharam for the highest ever payment made to a Tamil actress in recent times!

It is a major triumph for Kamal Hassan who has been able to convince Asin about the meaty role that she has in the film where she is the pivot around which Kamal�s 10 roles move. And with this, Dasavatharam has become one of the hottest films in the trade.

Remember that actors like Trisha, Vidya Balan and Shriya had backed out of the project saying that they had �date problems�? But now the Kamal- Asin combo is sure to create a riot on screen with their terrific comedy timing along with Himesh Reshammiya�s peppy music score. Dasavatharam is sure to rock!
