Ash and Bipasha together in Hollywood flick
Bollywood bombshells Aishwarya Rai and Bipasha Basu could go head to head in a Hollywood film.
Much has been made about the two sizzling beauties, be it their love lives, their Bollywood careers, or which one of the two will break Hollywood first. Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai are two of Indias most talked about ladies, and now the whole world could be talking about them if Ben Kingsley has his way.
The Hollywood actor, famous for playing Mahatama Gandhi and winning an Oscar for it, is all set to play the Moghul emperor Shah Jahan in an upcoming big feature flick produced by Hollywood and based around the love monument that is the Taj Mahal. News has already come to us that Aishwarya Rai will play Mumtaz to Ben Kingsleys Shah Jahan, but now it has been reported that Bipasha Basu could be playing the role of Shah Jahans eldest daughter Jahanara Begum.
The news has yet to be confirmed, but if is true, this will see two of Bollywoods greatest starlets on-screen once again. Do recall they were paired opposite Hrithik Roshan and Uday Chopra, respectively, in last years mega smash hit Dhoom 2.
Aishwarya Rai has already confirmed that she will become Mumtaz, but Bipasha might not want to play second fiddle to Aishwarya Rai. But saying that, this will be an internationally promoted film so who cares if Aishwarya gets all the limelight a little light on Bipasha in Hollywood will still be more than she could ever have dreamt of.
Aishwaryas Hollywood adventure has not yet become fruitful after she turned down the romantic lead opposite Will Smith in Hitch, she has seen disaster in the form of epic European produced flick The Last Legion. She did rule the Box Office for a week or two in the United Kingdom with Bride And Prejudice and showed her sentimental acting prowess in Provoked. In a few months time she will appear in a few scenes wit veteran comedian Steve Martin in The Pink Panthar 2.
Bipashas western tales have yet to begin. Since her exploits with Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, the Bengali babe has become pretty well known. Aishwaryas former agent Simone Sheffield has managed to bring her a few projects in California, one being the role in a multi-arch story on renowned American drama LOST. This story has not yet been confirmed.
What are your thoughts on this breaking story do you think Bipasha and Aishwarya being casted in the roles of Jahanara and Mumtaz are correct or would you have gone with someone else? Which actress do you think will come out trumps once the movie is produced and released will it be Bipasha or Aishwarya that is loved more? Do you think Aishwarya could get an Best Actor Oscar nomination or is this another disaster for her in the making? Could Bipasha get a nod for Best Supporting Actress? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below. The best comment will win $10 so start writing now.
