AMMA office-bearers return!

Innocent, Mohanlal and all the other important office-bearers have now been re-elected at the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) elections.

The elections were scheduled for the 25th of June. But the elections were canceled when none came forward to file nominations. Jagadish had filed his papers as a contestant for posts like President, Vice President and Treasurer, but he withdrew his candidature soon afterwards.

So, the bigwigs return to power unopposed. Here�re the details.

President- Innocent

Vice president- Dileep and Nedumudi Venu

General Secretary- Mohanlal

Secretary- Idavela Babu

Treasurer- Mukesh

Members of the executive committee include Rajan P Dev, Bindu Panikker, Vijayaraghavan, Cochin Haniffa, Harishri Ashokan, Kunhako Boban and Manian Pillai.

MACTA was going to conduct its elections on the 25th of this month but it now stands postponed after a suit was filed in the courts by some members who were disqualified from voting. New dates haven�t been announced yet.
