Aishwarya Rai making new friends

Despite her beauty and superstar status Aishwarya Rai is an easygoing person who gels well with her co-stars.

Aishwarya has made a couple of new sahelis and friends in the last few months. Even as she was working on her soon-to-be-released project Provoked , Ash became very fond of Nandita Das , who, however, plays a rather marginal role in the film. Ash admitted to the media that she was a fan of Nandita�s work.

And then later, during the making of Mani Ratnam�s Guru � which has Ash pairing with Abhishek Bachchan � Ash got along very well with actress Vidya Balan .

A report quotes Ash as saying: �Whatever we (Ash and Vidya) have done so far has been a pleasure. She�s a lovely girl and I enjoy working with her. As a matter of fact, we vibe really well.�

Not just Vidya, Ash also made a very unlikely friend on the sets of �Guru�. And this unlikely friend happens to be none other than actor Madhavan �s son Vedant.

Incidentally, Vedant too has blue eyes like Ash and he became very fond of the actress. Ash, who loves kids, reciprocated the young kid�s affection.

�At last, I�ve found a friend who has the same eye colour as me,� says Ash, about her little friend.
