7 days for fireworks!

Diwali-2005 continues to throw up surprises with hardly a week left. Now only three films- Majaa, Sivakasi and Athu Oru Kana Kalam are confirmed.

Since Thavamai Thavamirunthai and Perarasu have backed out, the Meera Jasmine starrer Kastoorimaan and Srikanth- Namitha starrer Bambarakannale are trying to get hold of theatres vacated by the other two.

But as of now the three sure releases are-

Maja - has been censored with a clean �U� certificate. Producer Rockline Venkatesh has announced the release date as November 1 and 167 theatres in Tamilnadu have booked the film.

Sivakasi - Is being censored on Monday and producer A.M.Ratnam will keep to his November 1, Diwali date with over 180 prints.

Athu Oru Kana Kalam - In spite of the producer and director being at each others throat, the film has been censored and is ready for release on November 1. The distributors association has told theatres that there is nothing to worry about and the film will release with over 110 prints.
