Ghaath

Ghaath is the story of today's India. An India that is bleeding from it's boundaries and needs immediate aid. The system has become so corrupt that it is now out of control. Infact it seems that this great country is running on auto pilot!

Krishna Patil (Manoj Bajpai) is the son of an ex-freedom fighter Anupam Kher. Krishna's ambition is to become a police officer and thereby uphold the highest traditions of the law. He impresses his officer Ajay Pandey (Om Puri) with his training when he joins the police academy. Krishna happens to come into contact with Kavita (Tabu), a lawyer, who feels that the current corrupt system will destroy Krishna's principles. But Krishna is adamant on waging a one-man war against the system.

After finishing the training course, he fails to get a job because he is against offering bribes. Meanwhile, his sister Sheeba and her husband lose their lives fighting against Govind Namdeo. Krishna decides to fight the system on his own terms. With the help of Ajay Pandey, Kavita, local Shiv Sainik Tinu Anand and his father, he sets about his mission. Will he be able to clean the system or will it wipe him off ?
