Vikram postpones Chanthupottu
A series of recent remake flops has now made Vikram think twice about remaking �Chaandupottu� in Tamil.
�Thommanum Makkalum� was a huge hit in Malayalam and was remade in Tamil as �Majaa�. The film flopped. Vikram was seriously planning to remake Dileep�s �Chanthupottu� in Tamil too, but it looks like he is extremely nervous about going ahead with the project.
Though the actor loves to experiment with his image, he is not in a position right now to try such a huge market-risk like �Chanthupottu�.
Even the remake of �Rajamanikyam� too is likely to get into trouble due to the recent trends. We hope Anwar Rasheed has lined up other alternatives.
